Manitoba CMP Conference
The Manitoba region of the Canadian Mineral Processors society will be hosting their annual conference in Flin Flon from October 5th to 7th.
The conference will be held at Baker’s Narrows Lodge and will follow a similar format as previous years. Events will begin with a meet and greet on Wednesday evening, the technical program will be held on Thursday and a plant tour of the Flin Flon Mill will be offered on Friday morning.
We are looking for presentations on topics related to mineral processing and supporting processes, including but not limited to equipment design and start-up, process improvements and optimization, and lab or plant trials. The technical program is an essential part of the conference and your participation is greatly appreciated. Please submit the title of your presentation and a brief abstract. Presentations should be approximately 20 minutes. A written paper is not required.
There is also an opportunity to provide financial support for the Manitoba CMP conference. Any sponsorship will be both welcomed and appreciated, and will go a long way towards helping the conference run smoothly.

CMP Ottawa/Montreal/Quebec Branch Annual Meeting
The 3rd annual Meeting of the Canadian Mineral Processors Ottawa/Montreal/Quebec Branch which will be held on Thursday, November 10th at the John Molson reception room located at the Molson Canada Brewery, 1670 Notre Dame Est in Montreal (metro: Papineau). The event will consist of an industrial tour and a technical program followed by a reception, dinner and guest speaker. The detailed program schedule and registration information will be distributed shortly.
